Advertising Terms & Conditions

1. Who Can Advertise with Us

We welcome businesses that provide fun, safe, family-friendly products, services, or activities that align with our mission to make school holidays easy and exciting.
We reserve the right (in our absolute discretion) to refuse, pause, or remove any listing, feature, or sponsorship. Examples of situations where we might refuse, pause or remove a listing:

• We feel the business isn’t the right fit for our audience,
• The activity/service could pose safety, legal, or reputational risks, or
• Information provided is misleading or inappropriate.

2. Listings & Features

• All listing inclusions are outlined in the Free, Basic, and Premium packages on our website.
• Basic and Premium listings require payment before your listing goes live.
• You’ll need to supply your own images, logos, and wording – and it’s up to you to make sure you’ve got the rights to use them. That includes getting permission from parents before sharing any photos that feature children.
• We may edit content slightly (grammar, formatting, style) to match the SHGC vibe.
• You'll have your own login to edit your listing if you need to make future changes to it.

3. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are taken monthly or annually depending on your plan.
• Fees are non-refundable.
• If you cancel mid-term, your listing will remain active until the end of the paid period (no partial refunds).
• If we decline your listing when you initially submit it, we will refund in full, any listing fees paid.

4. Content Responsibility

• You’re responsible for making sure all information you provide is accurate, up-to-date, and not misleading.
• SHGC is not responsible for errors in the information you supply, nor for any outcomes resulting from your business activities.
• You must hold any required licences, permits, or insurances to operate your business legally.

5. Cancellations & Removals

We may remove your listing without refund if:

• Payment is not received,
• You breach these terms, or
• We receive complaints or concerns that make us feel your business is no longer suitable for SHGC.

You may cancel at any time by contacting us – easy peasy.

6. Liability

We’re here to connect families with awesome activities, but:

• SHGC takes no responsibility for the conduct, safety, or quality of services/products offered by advertisers.
• Advertisers agree to indemnify SHGC against any claims, losses, or damages arising from their advertising or business activities.

7. Promotions & Exposure

• While we do our very best to give your business great exposure, we can’t guarantee specific results, clicks, bookings, or enquiries.
• Promotions, features, and sponsorships are subject to availability and may change from time to time.

8. General Good Vibes

By advertising with us, you agree to:

• Keep your content positive, family-friendly, and respectful,
• Play fair with our team and our audience, and
• Understand that SHGC’s decisions are final when it comes to what appears on our site, newsletter, or socials.

9. Updates to These Terms

From time to time, we may tweak these terms to keep things running smoothly. Updated terms will always be available on our website, and by continuing your advertising you’ll be deemed to accept the latest version.

In Short
We love supporting great Gold Coast businesses although if we think something’s not a good fit, we’ll politely decline. No hard feelings.
