6. Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park – Palm Beach

Oops we have to add another one to the list! If laid back Burleigh is more your vibe, the Tallebudgera Tourist Park is located a few minutes drive south, right on beautiful Tallebudgera Creek.

While it’s a holiday park and not technically a Gold Coast resort, this is a wonderful place for families to stay. There’s a range of cabins, some directly on the waterfront, plus budget family rooms and sites for a caravan or tent.

You can enjoy natural surroundings and a netted swimming area on the creek in addition to resort-style facilities like a tennis court, swimming pool, waterslides and playground.

While there’s no restaurant onsite, the park kiosk sells basic items and the Tallebudgera Creek Surf Life Saving Club is just across the road. Or you can venture to the many dining options in Burleigh.
